The DPY College is a prestigious institute and belongs to one of the top physiotherapy teaching and research institutions in India. The mission of the principal Dr. Tushar J Palekar who also attended the workshop is to engage his students with the latest technologies. For him learning is a never-ending process which rewards both the teacher and the taught and ultimately leads to quality patient care.

Students need to be involved in Matrix Rhythm Therapy

Dr. Tushar Palekar explained why he wants students to know about Matrix Rhythm Therapy early on: „Consequence of partially unsatisfactory therapy results in day-to-day clinical work lead us to reconsider the practiced therapy methods. Conventional Physical Therapy delays prognosis, so we need a new therapy that can heal faster in todays world of speed and technology. In Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Physiotherapy, Pune, we nurture budding physiotherapist to be the leader and researcher in future. So mere knowledge of conventional physiotherapy is not enough. To lead the field of physiotherapy they need constant up gradation of their knowledge with new therapies to stand in global stage. Matrix Rhythm Therapy is a solution for many acute and chronic neurogenic and muscular disorders that heal patients faster and the therapy is user friendly  for the therapist. Therefore we need our students to know about Matrix Therapy in theory and practical before they pass out from the college.“
